What is Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)?

Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) - A mobile learning model that allows students to use personal smartphones, computers, or tablets alongside classroom instruction.

Why we talk about this at Chalkup

We're big into what's happening on the mobile learning front and we know lots of schools have had success with BYOD or BYOT (Bring Your Own Tech) programs. These initiatives have expanded the role of technology in the classroom and provided schools with flexibility in how they add edtech to the mix.
